Scottish Apprenticeships are for everyone no matter their background and for every business, no matter its size or sector. This year, Scottish Apprenticeship Week takes place from 2 – 6 March. It's when you can get involved in activities and events that take place up and down the country.
The campaign theme is ‘Talent Without Limits’ so join us as we celebrate the diversity which makes work-based learning good for individuals, employers and the economy.
Skills Development Scotland aims to make this year’s #ScotAppWeek20 #TalentWithoutLimits the best yet, with the help of employers, apprentices, industry bodies, learning providers, colleges, universities and campaign supporters.
Apprenticeships and work-based learning are providing the skills needed for a successful Scotland.
With that in mind this year’s theme is ‘Skills for the Future’, recognising the importance of investing in our workforce.
We want everyone with a shared interest in the success of apprenticeships to get involved and show how they support work-based learning.
Achievements could include:
Professional achievement: such as working on a massive project or learning a new skill
Development achievement: like public speaking and boosting your confidence
Life achievement: such as buying a car or paying for a holiday. Get creative with your own words, pics and films.
Remember to tag another apprentice or employer and encourage them to share their achievements too
The Campaign Toolkit on apprenticeships.scot provides full details on how to get involved, with links to downloadable graphics, social media posts and supporting materials.
There is also an online form to register your events and activity so we can promote everything that’s happening throughout the country.
