Job Summary

  • Carry out instructions as required to ensure the smooth running of vending areas
  • Fix vending machines in the event of fault
  • Filling and cleaning of all drinks and snack vending equipment on site
  • Complete all ordering and maintain stored stock
  • Take weekly reads for all vending equipment as well as collecting all monies

Skills required

  • Organised and methodical in your approach to tasks
  • Able to work as part of a team, but also self-motivated
  • Aptitude for customer service
  • Physical resilience
  • You may need a clean, full UK Driving License

Qualifications and Training

You don’t need any particular qualifications or training to begin your career as a Vending Assistant. However, if you tend to progress further you may want to consider various food preparation and food hygiene certificate and qualifications.

Salary Expectations

A Vending Assistant can expect to earn between £12,000 and £17,500 a year
