  • Managing stocks of food and related items for the kitchens and bars
  • Issue stocks to kitchen and bar staff
  • Place orders with suppliers (these may require the prior approval of the chef or food and beverage manager)
  • Check in deliveries for quantity and quality including the temperature of chilled and frozen items
  • Quality and the best-before or use-by dates must be monitored
  • Safe working practices, particularly when handling quantities of food stuffs
