You’ll be the manager of numerous sites in one particular area – you’ll ensure continuity between the sites and bring collected data back to head office

Job Summary

  • Manage the catering services contracts at client premises throughout your area
  • Familiarise yourself with a diverse range of facilities, from snack bars and vending machines to executive hospitality suites
  • Carrying out health and safety checks
  • Develop business and client relationships
  • Prepare budgets and financial reports
  • Identify potential new contracts, developing business leads and negotiating new contracts with the sales team
  • Appraise the performance of your managers, giving feedback on what they are doing well, and helping them improve in other areas

Salary Expectations

An Area Manager can earn between £25,000 and £50,000 a year, though depending on experience and the company this can increase to over £65,000.
