As the head of the Cleaning Services Department you are responsible for its internal organisation and its relationship with other departments within the company

Job Summary

  • Check that high standards of cleanliness are maintained
  • Deal with the suppliers of linen, cleaning materials and guest supplies (sachets of tea and coffee, soap, shampoo, etc.),
  • Organise budgets and other paperwork (maintenance reports, room check sheets, safety audits, etc.).
  • Control costs of cleaning materials, linen, laundry, maintenance and wages
  • Take overall responsibility for cleaning
  • Be familiar with the tendering process and experienced at managing contractors
  • Ensure that all Health and Safety regulations are fully complied with
  • Conduct regular health and safety audits, make hazard checks, and investigate the causes of any workplace accidents, taking steps to avoid their repetition

Salary Expectations

Cleaning Services Manager can expect to earn between £16,000 and £36,000 a year
