Job Summary

  • Ensure that the company is well placed to win new contracts
  • Liaise closely with all levels of management
  • Develop promotional campaigns
  • Appoint and supervise the work of PR and advertising agents
  • Create marketing plans and budgets and ensure these are carried out
  • Help manage the Marketing Department

Qualifications and Training

Most of those entering the world of Marketing today are recent graduates with a University degree. However, with a wide variety of experience and a natural flair it is possible to enter this position without going to University

A Marketing Director can earn between £29,000 and £57,500 a year with an average salary of £47,000. A Marketing Director of a global brand can expect to earn large sums including £100,000+
