It is your job to organise and run promotional campaigns in order to increase a business’s profile, attract customers and increase sales. 

Job Summary

  • Identifying potential clients, and converting their interest into a firm booking
  • Negotiate with potential clients, and ensure that existing clients are satisfied with their experience
  • Management of a sales database
  • Produce and present a monthly sales and marketing report to the management team, with detailed information on competitors, client feedback and updates on rate negotiations
  • Develop promotional campaigns
  • Appoint and supervise the work of PR and advertising agents
  • Create marketing plans and budgets and ensure these are carried out

Qualifications and Training

Most of those entering the worlds of Sales and Marketing today are recent graduates with a University degree. However, with a wide variety of experience and a natural flair it is possible to enter this position without going to University

Salary Expectations

A Sales and Marketing Executive can earn between £35,000 and £60,000 a year. With experience, some companies will pay upto and in excess of £80,000.
