I started on the Elite Graduate Management programme in September 2012 and completed placements at Tylney Hall, Ashdown Park and finally at Luton Hoo.

After the Graduate programme I successfully applied for the Event Manager position at Luton Hoo in April 2013 and I have just been promoted to Assistant Conference and Banqueting Manager in February 2015.

“Conference & Banqueting is completely different everyday; you can be doing a dinner for eight people the next day you can be setting up a conference for two hundred and fifty plus.”

Experiences I have really enjoyed have been the responsibility for the non resident Christmas Day lunch 2014 in the Romanov and receiving the positive feedback from the guests, plus all the big corporate events that are held at Warren Weir.

The hotel is unique as there are three different areas of the estate and conference and banqueting work between all areas, so is a varied role. This can include a dinner in the Mansion House to a conference for two hundred plus at Warren Weir and even golf corporate days at the Country Club.
