A committed and hardworking chef at Hilton, starting out as an apprentice at the age of 16, can progress to become a head chef at one of our hotels in as few as 9 years.
A great avenue into a career in culinary at Hilton is through our Apprenticeship Academy. The Academy provides many apprentices across the UK with the opportunity to train with Hilton through a 12-month apprenticeship. Apprenticeship opportunities offer on-the-job training from professionally qualified experts, onsite mentors, development workshops and master classes. Programme participants can focus on professional cookery, while the Academy’s entry-level education to the world of hospitality is fully funded, including tuition fees and travel expenses, plus participants receive a salary while in the programme.
