The bar is a fun place to be, for both the staff and its customers! From a country pub to an inner-city cocktail bar, there are a range of skills on offer. It is likely that you will need to learn basic wine varieties, how to change a barrel and make some staple cocktails. Bar work is usually shift work, which is flexible and can be full or part-time, often in the evening and at the weekend, fitting in with studies and other pursuits. 

On the job training is available on a bar. It is possible to start without any experience and qualifications and you can progress through the ranks with hard work and dedication.
