The GEMS programme has been increasingly successful since 2009 in offering a unique opportunity for undergraduate students to become inspired, learn employability skills and get the experience and guidance needed to develop their career. Our Mentors are experts in their specialisms and can provide their Mentees with valuable insights into the Hospitality industry as well as the routes available to them. Mentors hold senior positions in the industry for more than five years. All specialisms in the sector are welcomed.
To be accepted onto the scheme, students must be in their second year or above and will follow a process of shortlisting to ensure they display maturity, dedication and enthusiasm for the scheme and, most importantly, the Hospitality Industry. Once they are successfully selected, they undertake a Mentee briefing session conducted by Springboard.
